Technologies are demonstrated, disseminated and their adoption by relevant stakeholders supported. Apart from environmental benefits, diffusion of technologies improve quality of life and reduce inequalities for deprived communities.
Pragya Solutions strives to improve the economic status in under-resourced areas and amongst disadvantaged groups that poverty is entrenched in. We help to diversify livelihoods and strengthen value-chains, which are established routes out of poverty. Niche-sector livelihoods and sectors with a competitive advantage are developed, vocational skills built and cooperative endeavor supported, technologies infused towards enhancing productivity, and value-chains and market linkages strengthened.
Pragya Solutions is dedicated to furthering the cause of equity for all, and towards this, works to improve social justice for marginalised groups. Our work with women strives to empower them socially and economically, and combat gender-based violence in societies, and our work with socially-disadvantaged groups seeks to enhance their leadership and voice and redress specific inequities. Programs that we assist on or implement aim to improve access to rights to- healthcare, education, safe water and sanitation and democratic participation.
Pragya Solutions works across the Disaster Management spectrum. We step in to provide relief when disasters strike in the countries we operate, dealing with associated procurement and logistics. We also work with the range of development actors to improve Disaster Management systems, from preparedness to early warning to response and rehabilitation. We have a particular competence in institutionalizing Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction in remote areas.
Pragya Solutions recognizes capacity building and institution development as core and critical to sustainable development of peoples and areas. We work at community level, to build leadership and community organisations for collaborative endeavor and representation. We also work with civil society and academia and research institutions to improve knowledge-sharing and program quality and bridge the lab-to-land gaps. With the State, we strive to improve institutional processes and competencies (for education, health), supplement them and embed advanced tools in them for improving outreach
Pragya Solutions aims in particular to improve the development status of under-resourced and underserved areas, and also seeks to potentiate particular opportunities for disadvantaged areas. Working in conjunction with all stakeholders for the area, we undertake holistic upgradation of critical sectors or development of specific engines of growth for the region. Comprehensive assessments are undertaken, followed by collaborative planning and strategy development, guided implementation of programs, along with capacity building of stakeholders.
